To celebrate the Global Entrepreneurship week, Mrs. Simi Nwogugu, Executive Director of Junior Achievement Nigeria on Friday November 17, 2017 visited the Lagos State Government Vocational Skills Acquisition Center in Mushin along with Ms. Toyin Cameron, Head, Corporate Social Responsibility, Sasol where they both interacted with JA ITS TYME participants as part of preparations for the upcoming business competition, where the emerging winner will represent Nigeria at the African ITS TYME Competition of the year 2018.
Consequently, on Jan. 26th 2018, Mrs. Toyin Cameron and Mrs. Ezinne Obiora both of Sasol, welcomed the participants who paid a courtesy visit to the Sasol office accompanied by the Executive Director of JAN – Mrs. Simi Nwogugu. The Sasol team shared business insights with the participants highlighting the importance of Customer Satisfaction in business as well as the use of social media as a marketing tool to reach existing customers and prospects. These insights will further guide the participants as they prepare for the National Business competition.
The Junior Achievement ITS TYME (Immersion Training Strategy: Targeting Young Marginalized Entrepreneurs) project is a JA initiative that equips out-of-school youth in Sub Saharan Africa with entrepreneurial, financial literacy and work readiness skills that will enable them become economically self-sufficient.
