Tife who participated in the JA Company Program as president while at International School Lagos in 2010, was recently awarded the highly sought-after Chevening Scholarship to pursue a Master’s degree in the United Kingdom. She is now at London School of Economics studying for a degree in Media, Communications, and Development. Prior to this, Tife was the Media & Communications Manager at Red Dish Chronicles, a top culinary school based in Lagos and Abuja. Tife is also a board member of the Sanitary Aid for Nigerian Girls (SANG), a volunteer group that provides free sanitary aid to girls from low-income families and Internally Displaced Persons in different areas of the country. SANG’s goal is to promote sanitary hygiene among young women by educating them on good hygiene practices. Earlier this year, Tife along with her SANG team, were at JA Nigeria’s Leadership Empowerment Achievement and Development (LEAD) Camp for outstanding female participants of the Company Program where she talked to them about her experience in the Company Program and taught them the benefits of good hygiene.
