Thanks to our Board Member, Accenture, Junior Achievement Nigeria held a ‘Call-to-Partnership’ lunch at the 24th Nigerian Economic Summit which held on the 22nd and 23rd of October at the Transcorp Hilton, Abuja. The JA Nigeria lunch which held on the afternoon of Tuesday, October 23, was put together in order to engage key stakeholders who will work with JAN to reach one million youth by 2020 and create 10,000 digital entrepreneurs by 2025 as our way of contributing to the conference theme: Poverty to Prosperity. Mr. Niyi Yusuf, Managing Director of Accenture, and Chairman of the JA Nigeria Board, delivered the welcome address, followed by #NCOY2018 2nd place winners, the Brain Max student company of Government Girls’ Secondary School, Abaji, Abuja, who wowed guests with the presentation of their company – an online market that connects local farmers directly to customers. Guests gave a standing ovation to the student’s presentation and the JAN Executive Director, Simi Nwogugu wrapped up with an overview of JAN, a call to partnership from various companies represented.
