Thanks to ANGUZ Partners, the JA Company Program and Career Success are now being taught in Imo State, the last state of the Southeast region left to penetrate. This partnership, which kicked off in October with a training for 27 teachers ahead of in-class delivery in 19 selected schools, was designed to empower over 300 secondary school students and another 60 students at tertiary institutions with entrepreneurship, business leadership and digital literacy skills. The Career Program has commenced at the Federal University of Technology Owerri, with some of the beneficiaries there signing up to mentor the secondary school students as they learn together.
ANGUZ is an initiative of Anthony Mbakwe, Ngozi Dozie, Uzo Nwagwu and Kelechi Ohiri, successful business leaders from Imo State who decided to improve the lives of youth in their state by preparing them for future success, which would in turn reduce the high unemployment and crime rates in the state. We are honored to have been chosen as a partner and are grateful to the ANGUZ Partners for demonstrating that we all have the power to create change in our respective communities.
