Following the sponsorship and expansion of JAN “My Company My Region” signature program by Aspire Coronation Trust Foundation (ACT Foundation), Group Managing Director and CEO of Access Bank, Dr. Herbert Wigwe celebrated Children’s Day with students of Girls Junior Grammar School (GJGS), Ikoyi on May 28, 2019.
He spoke to them on a variety of topics ranging from his personal experience and career journey to the importance of staying in school. He also encouraged the girls to be brave and embrace opportunities which come their way, ignoring negative voices that may try to discourage them. Dr. Wigwe then promised the school a new ICT centre, which was to the students’ utmost delight.
Also speaking at the event, CEO of ACT Foundation, Osayi Alile affirmed the Foundation’s commitment to continually support JAN programs in the school.
