JAN and ANGUZ Partners kicked off a two-day JA Career Program at the Federal University of Technology Owerri (FUTO), on April 24, which taught students the 4C’s of career success, and other key tools needed to build a successful career. Sharing stories from his personal experience, Anthony Mbakwe, an ANGUZ partner explained why creativity, critical thinking, communication, and collaboration are critical to an individual’s career growth.
Pascal Offurem, Manager of NIIT spoke to the students about careers in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM), and how to best prepare themselves for the jobs of the future.
The program rounded up with a ‘train-the-trainer’ session, where JAN Company Program Managers, Emmanuel Oturu and Ugonna Achebe, trained over 100 FUTO students who will serve as mentors to the secondary school students running the JA Company Program in Imo State.
We are honoured to have been chosen as a partner and are grateful to the ANGUZ Partners for demonstrating that we all have the power to create change in our respective communities.
