On July 24, 2019, JAN staff and students were invited to participate in the third edition of the annual Google for Nigeria event where they were introduced to Google’s newest cutting-edge technologies like Google Lens and Google Go.

The JAN team was led by the National Program Manager, Ugonna Achebe, and the students and teachers were inspired by the speakers who spoke about the positive influence of technology in their individual lives and organizations citing several examples. They learned how Google products like Google My Business have helped improve businesses for digital businesses and low-tech businesses such as farming.

We are grateful for the opportunity provided by Google to our students, teachers and staff to witness the importance of technology in improving lives.
