The JAN Career Success Program, Ready. Set. Boss 2.0 in partnership with Sigma Pensions Limited kicked off on Monday, October 21, 2019, with a three-day seminar holding simultaneously in Abuja, Enugu, Ibadan, and Lagos.

The program is targeted at empowering National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) members by exposing them to the essential skills necessary to succeed in a corporate and entrepreneurial world.

In the first two days of the seminar, the participants were taught the JAN Career Success modules by the staff of Sigma Pensions Limited who trained them on critical thinking, effective communication, personal development, and conflict management. They were also trained in financial independence and early retirement. On the last day, the participants are trained on the JAN Be Entrepreneurial Program and briefed on the project plan competition.

After the seminar, corps members will teach JAN Be Entrepreneurial program in select secondary schools as a way of giving back to society. Participants who successfully complete all sessions of the JAN Be Entrepreneurial program and come up with a project plan to address any of the SDGs in a small community where they serve will get the opportunity to participate in a Career Fair and Project Plan Competition in the selected cities with attractive prizes for winners.
