JA Nigeria Digital Programs

As part of measures to keep our students learning with extended school closures, the JA Nigeria team has added exciting new digital programs and taken the flagship Company Program online. With your support, we can leverage technology to engage as many students as possible and ensure that no student is left behind as a result of the lockdown.

JA Company Program teaches senior secondary level students how to start and run their own business, develop a product or service, and market their brand with the support of a volunteer. Students come together to form a company, choose a business name and elect company officers to oversee operations of the company for the program duration.

Guiding this initiative is the National Program Manager, Junior Achievement Nigeria, Ugonna Achebe, and the Digital Transformation Officer, Franklin Nwachukwu, who will both be deploying their expertise to drive the program implementation.

The Entrepreneurship for Beginners is a digital program introducing students to important tips for starting a successful entrepreneurial venture, challenges as a startup entrepreneur and steps to take when registering a business.

Through the ABC’s of 123’s, we teach the fundamentals of Financial Literacy and personal finance through a series of teachings that can be modified for different learning/age groups.

My business & Me is an Entrepreneurship and Leadership Series focused on teaching the rudimentary skills for starting a business and leading people; the Work Readiness Series exposes students, graduates and young professionals to the future of work and how to navigate one’s way up the corporate ladder.
