Volunteer Spotlight – Chimdinma Mbeledogu

Chimdinma Mbeledogu, a banker in Port Harcourt volunteers to teach JA Company Program at Federal Government College, Port Harcourt. Chimdinma works with First Bank Nigeria Plc as the Head of Branch Services. She believes that young people should be equipped with the necessary skills to enable them thrive in the future; this is one of the reasons why she’s volunteering with JA Nigeria. What was your motivation for volunteering with JA Nigeria? 

JA Nigeria has an ideology that I knew I wanted to be part of. It’s unprecedented. 

How would you describe your volunteering experience with JA Nigeria so far? It’s been a phenomenal and amazing experience. An eye-opener in several ways. 

What has been the highlight of your volunteering with JA Nigeria? 

Knowing that I played some role in their journey to self-reliance and self-awareness. 

Why is it important to volunteer?

To contribute to shaping the younger generation to be self reliant which ensures we have a generation of fearless and self confident individuals.
