Janneke Rietman volunteers with Junior Achievement Nigeria as a Research, Monitoring & Evaluation volunteer. Janneke has contributed significantly to the actualization of the monitoring and evaluation goals of JA Nigeria. In this short chat with Janneke, she explains what motivate her and drive to volunteer in the non-profit space.
What do you love about your Job?
– That I can structure information and processes every day #nerd-alert
– That I can use my (research) skills to have social impact
– That I am working with colleagues who are very passionate about their job
What keeps you motivated to your goals?
The realization that my education made me into the person I am today. I wish every student to have such an experience and learn, be critical, be independent and get inspired. The fact that we empower young students with the skills to become the leaders of tomorrow, keeps me motivated to my goals every day.
What are your hobbies?
Playing field hockey, cycling, reading

I become genuinely happy by reorganizing the food in my fridge, I basically just love to restructure anything
