Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree from a reputable university
  • Experience in  program monitoring and performance tracking
  • Experience in developing data collection tools using koboCollect
  • Experience working in or volunteering for a non-profit organization

Experience

  • Minimum of 3 years’ relevant experience within a company or an NGO.
  • Proven track record of delivering successful projects/programs in the Non-profit space.
  • Demonstrate experience in field monitoring and supervision

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the monitoring and evaluation of all programs to ensure high quality delivery by effective and responsive program staff.
  • Support the design and implementation of M&E frameworks, M&E Plans, data collection tools to gather high quality data
  • Coordinate with field staff, volunteers and enumerators during data collection activities facilitating learning and lessons learned
  • Support the development and execution of research agenda to meet both long and short-term strategic goals of the organization.
  • Support the development and implementation of M&E framework and tools from the IT Committee.
  • Support the development of thought pieces and knowledge products
  • Support organizational culture shifts from a focus on data being primarily for donor reporting or indicator tracking to using data for programmatic course correction and decision making.
  • Support the compilation and publish a comprehensive impact report ahead of JAN anniversaries for distribution to all key stakeholders.
  • Supporting a team of M&E Interns including setting performance objectives, mentoring and coaching them.
  • Identify risks / issues to implementation of programs, resolve or escalate to M&E Manager.
  • Stay abreast of current trends and developments that can enhance program delivery and impact.
