VIRTUAL COMPANY PROGRAM

ABOUT THE PROGRAM

Just like the Company Program run in classrooms, we have been able to adopt the same approach to run the Virtual Company Program. This is a 5-week series program and students would be engaged on zoom and would be taught how to start and run a business by identifying problems in their community and coming up with innovative business solutions.

PROGRAM SESSION

Students learn about entrepreneurship, how to start a business, create a company structure and various ways to fund their venture.

Students work on case studies to identify the minimum viable product (MVP) of existing business, learn about the business model canvas and brainstorm on potential products and services ideas  and decide on which idea to move forward with based on a series of factors.

Students perform job shadow to learn about the roles of various departments in an organization. They also learn Financial Modelling from a top professional using the Junior Achievement Nigeria standard financial template.

Students come to a consensus on major decisions, finalize their business plan and launch their business idea. Students also leverage on the expertise of professionals while developing and launching their business.

After launching the business, students meet to analyze progress, priorities and to ensure all processes meet up with the company’s goals and objectives.
